I am REALLY confused!! (by braindroppings)

I have a friend (who I have been friends with for almost 7 years) and lately he has been doing some things that make me think he may have developed feelings for me within recent months. One night I called him up because I was drunk and upset. Yesterday, I told him I really wanted some cookie dough and he came over and brought me some. It is a 60 mile roundtrip just to come visit me! On top of that, he has school tomorrow (college classes). These are just two examples. I don't know if I should say anything about all of this. :(

Sounds like he might but I don't know full story and you know him a lot more. You like him I take it?

@braindroppings: Well the way it looks to me he's not just being nice. From what you just described, its obvious he likes you alot. Especially to drive that far. My last girlfriend did the same thing. Although not in the same order. She flew all the way from Tokyo just to give me a real samurai sword, a cool book about kabuki and a whole lot of lovin. Ahem, if you catch my tongue. Lol.

@braindroppings: how do you feel about him? it could be he does have feelings for you or he is a really good friend. also what did you tell him when you were drunk?

@anonymoususer321: I had feelings for him when I was 17. I'm not sure if I really feel anything like that. It would be easier to know how I really feel about all of it if I knew how he felt. It's just that we have been friends for so many years.

@Ayonowyn: It does sound that way, but I feel as though I may be wrong. & that is really neat and cool! She must have really cared (:

I'm not quite sure if I have feelings. After talking about it once before years ago, I haven't really looked at him differently. I told him I was upset and wanted a hug. Then he drove over. During my drunken stupor, he said he had to go so he could get some sleep cause he had work in the morning. I asked him to stay cause I didn't want to be by myself and I wanted him to hold me so I could fall asleep, so he stayed.

yeah be careful with that you may be sending him mixed signals. if you feel like you want him then tell him when you are sober. if not talk to him about that night ask him what he felt and apologize for that night if you lead him on and avoid talking to him when you are drunk. women can send guys the wrong signals. just remember any relationship friends or more all rely on communication.

@BamaFanRollT1de: I just don't understand. 3 years ago, kind of the same stuff happened. He held me while I went to sleep then. I told him how I felt then but he didn't feel that way. How can he feel that 3 years later? I, honestly, don't think I'd mind going on a date with him. I wouldn't mind knowing him much better than I do now. I just don't know how to ask him about all of this.
