I had a conversation with a ghost one morning when i got off working at a gas station that was on the corner of a busy intersection. I worked the graveyard shift. I walked across the street to catch my bus at the park next to the store. I was tired and suddenly a little old lady maybe in her 70s sits with me at the bench and she looked grayish i thought it was because i was tired. Shes telling me she used to live in the area but not anymore and shes just tired. My bus comes around to stop and she gets up and walks up to it and tells me to hurry. I get in. Now the bus was just a small trolley. It takes off i thought she was going to get on. And poof shes gone. Theres nowhere she coulve gone and the traffic gets heavy in the morn...

@VELVETVEGA: to that I would ask multiple questions... Near holidays? Date? Time of day? Weather? Your mood? That sounds like a possible haunting or a residual, possibly an attachment to you. Nothing to be frightened of either way :)

When I was married, my ex and I were remodeling a 100+ year old house she had purchased before we had met. At one time, it had been a funeral home. Still had the old plumbing underneath the embalming room. I never saw anything, but some of the contractors we hired had some stories...The house was built on blocks and while working underneath it one day, they heard a door open, and footsteps walking down what seemed like the hall. Thinking it was me coming home, one of them came to check....he found no one in the house.

@clover04: the weather was clear my mood was fine. Ive learned that its not that if we believe in ghosts, its that they believe in us. And i know residuals and the different types of experiences not just hauntings. I have never been afraid and actually enjoy their company. They are a part of us just as we are a part of all that exists

My house was built in 1858 and was part of The Civil War and Trail of Tears. As was my town: Supply, Arkansas. (a small farmtown on the outskirts of Maynard, Arkansas) Many things have happened in this old house, but nothing of the dark supernatural. Mostly, a woman in an old victorian like white gown with lace and her brown hair done up on top of her head, a young girl that fell into an old sistren (used to draw water from a well in the olden days) but isn't scary at all, and a older gentleman that smells of cherry tobbaco. Sometimes the house will smell as if someone is cooking a large and very delicious meal when there is no cooking being done. We figure it's the woman cooking for her family. Whether you believe or not, visiting Maynard and Supply Arkansas will definately open your eyes to the supernatural. :)

went out with a girl one time who worked as a nurse in the UK. She worked night shift in a London hospital and she told me that she heard rumours about a haunted part of the hospital. she came home in a terrible state one morning. seems the rumours were more than just that. She heard babies crying in a part of the hospital used to carry out terminations . other nurses heard sounds of babies crying at other times as well.make you think wouldn't it?
