It's alot warmer this morning than it has been. It's 40 degrees & the high reaching 65 this afternoon. Still no sign of any geese in sight, I guess they are staying at Howard Johnson...

@tractorjohn: hi John , the geese are nowhere in sight , may be because you scared the s**t out of them and you'r not so good at missing the targets . lol

@Singhpk: Howard Johnson is a Hotel. I doubt that I scared them but the deer & duck hunters are shooting most of the time, so the geese will stay away from the hunters area.

It's really a warm morning today @ 50 degrees reaching to the mid 70's this afternoon. We are suppose to trim the hedges for my boss's wife & may mow the yard too, then we'll be off work at least till Friday. Still not a sign of a single goose near the wheat fields, yesterday Russell followed me till he began chasing the blackbirds, that dog is crazy about chasing birds.

Yesterday afternoon was so warm the flying insects were out in full force as if it was Spring time again. There were lots of Ladybugs, the most I've ever seen at one time.

Nothing exciting happened today until 5pm, my boss shot a 6 point deer close to a wheat field. He asked me if I wanted some of the meat, I told him: Sure I'll take half...
