Question of ethics (by bigmomma19)

So, an off-setting situation has come to my attention, which makes me wonder: if you see a woman in earnest persuit of a guy who's been known to be flippant, should you warn her? Recently, a good friend of mine got burned by a guy she met, now another woman is headed for the same direction. I honestly don't think she has any idea of what had happened, but i'd still hate to see her end up in the same situation.
Should we risk being seen as interfering and nosy if we honestly have the others persons feelings in mind? Do we say "hey, just so ya know.."? Or should we sit back and watch the inevitable train wreck?

I would... that might just be me, but I would rather warn her and know that after that it was up to her to decide what to do with the knowledge.

I agree. If your intentions are to truly help the person and you have the knowledge to possibly prevent a bad situation from occuring then you should say something. The other person may view it as you be nosy, rude and interferring...or jealous even, but you know where your heart is in the matter. You did what you could and you move forward. If something I said helped one person from making a horrific decision then I did my duty as a human being. That is how I feel about it.

I would also! if you have ever felt the devastating blow to your heart that your dear friend is about to endure, tell her like yesterday! we maybe wrong. she maybe the woman he so desperatly needs, cuts on harm in not telling her to walk carefully slow. If heartache is in her future with this man and she finds out later you knew, she'll be madder at you then, then she maybe today. you don't need to give the whole story to her up front. Just enough to caution her and to look for signs.

@Twoinchheels: unfortunately for my friend it is too late, but we've both noticed another going after him.

But thanks, all!
