FRIEND is not a title I give away freely. new people in my life I take with a grain of salt. everyone is sociable and friendly at first but I've also learned that some or fake. I normally wait two wk.s and sometimes up to a month before I might make reference to that term. This gives me time to read thier personality and train of thoughts. Fake people can hardly keep up the charade for more than two weeks. when and how do you give the title Friend?

@Twoinchheels: I also don't use the term friend right away. I converse with you for a while and if I find you affable, cultured, and honest, I begin to refer to you as my friend

@Twoinchheels: It's usually from reading their post on the forums & msgs they may send to me. But the main thing I look for is if they have ESP: Extra Special Personality.

Everyone is a friend until I have to defriend which is not a chore for me. But otherwise, everyone has a clean slate starting off with me. They dont owe me their friendship and vice versa. Through time, I know when I have a true friend because they are trusting as well as trustworthy, accept me for my good and bad faults as I do them, and never betray friendship due to misunderstandings. Usually, a true friend doesnt have to jump through any hoops for me. We expect and deliver friendship automatically and naturally.

People are all my friends until they are my enemy

here we used the term friend to call ppol we just meet even if we dnt know them too well or when we dnt know their names but talking to them... So I just call them close, best,good friends when i know them too well and we get along well with each other... here we even call people kapamilya( aunt uncle tito tita ) kapuso(heartmate???? loveteam ??not sure if this d term in english hehe) kapatid( bro sis ) people even if were not related not family or relative

I use the term friend more casualy my friends here work friends ect. but my homies are different that takes years my homies are like my family

I think everyone i communicate with is a friend. Im here on the forums to make friends, so if ur not my enemy ur my friend. If i ask fr ur advice or share my life stories with u (which is done on here) then yes i call u a friend. Some i am closer to then others. But we are all human and deserve friendships, so until u give me reason to believe u dont deserve mine we're good. Its friends for Christ sake, not lovers. We are suppose to love everyone

For me there are level of friendship . Those whom I newly met , i consider them my casual friends , if we click and seems we have similar interests for months / years then close friends & if I trusted them then a best of friends .

The friendship ends until proven they are fake people ...
