Ever thought about.... (by April666)
Mind if I ask , how long is so long and who would delete the dormant accounts? Would it be admin or the persons themselves ?
Andres of course. I would leave a time limit up to him.. since he can see peoples login and log off.. Personally Id go w/ a year. After a year I mean these ppl aint coming bk & if they do they can just make a new page.
what if that person was held prisoner by rabid hobos? he gets free after a year of being held prisoner in a cardboard room and is all excited to come back here and BAM! No account! would ya feel good about yourself then? huh? wouldya?
No one knows the reasons of why the accounts have been inactive or why they still have their accounts .
Might be , they become busy in real life and put all their time into it but would still have plan to get back on here and maybe say hi to friends .
Also creating new accounts means losing all your old contacts and it is important to have those old accounts in reconnecting old buddies .
I don't think , it's a good idea though ..

Ya know if an account is inactive for so long.....send a warning email that account has been dormant for too long and to have the user verify they still want he account...if not so kindly delete it.....
@April666: I don't remember when it was or what he said but Andres has already addressed this issue.
I seen a few not active since June 2011 i say over a yr their not coming back and should be deleted
Yup, I'll start doing that at some point, but first I have to do this to give them all a chance to come back.
