I have many family members who totally disagree with online dating....they think im stupid for even trying to find true love through a dating site and firmly believe that it will never happen or exist!!....hmmmm.....

Been there too girl....smh I listen to their concerns and do what I want anyway lol I could see if I was still pretty young but....

there are many dangers too. however i believe that you have to be smart about it, but its really the best way to be social and its very possible to find a good guy online.

It is true I feel embarrassed to be on a dating site considering the society I live in. But there is nothing wrong in it. Better than hanging out at pubs and bars where I find none my type. So enjoy ;-)

I may be unwelcome into this due to my age, but I understand. My sisters were skeptical due to finding their husbands at young ages right here in town. My mother how ever was happy I was not being secluded to one area alone. In her exact words (which I remember due to the hilarious looks on my sisters' faces): "It will take one hell of a man to sweep you off your feet and keep you there because of your independance. That man is definately not in this town if he is even in this state. So, go for it. Get out there." I actually expected my sisters to either faint or try to argue with my mother.
