@Logan: There seems to be a lot of us out here lol. Seriously though, not many Christians are open minded to other ways of life, especially when it comes to homosexuality. The fact that you are trying to understand, and asking for help... It speaks volumes about your character. I truly applaud you.

@IrishLove1988: Thank you Irish, i would accept it, but what i know of the Scriptures says its wrong. Iv never had a friend i was really close to who was gay, lesbian or bi. I want to understand them, love them, and truly care for them.

@Logan: I understand. I was born Catholic and raised to respect the bible and it's teachings. It wasn't until I was a bit older that I started to question it. Growing up, I had a lot of friends who were gay/bi/lesbian. The more I got to know them, the more I realized how wrong it was for me to blindly follow that kind of faith. My uncle was gay, and my mom is a lesbian. (Which I wasn't aware of until I was a teenager.) Homosexuality is not a reason to hate someone, nor a reason to judge them, in my eyes. I renounced my Catholic faith when I was 11 years old, and it's the best decision I ever made. I believe in treating everyone equally no matter their faith, sexuality, heritage, race, or for any other reason. We're all people :) Questioning the things you are taught or told, is a wonderful thing. It teaches you to become your own person, and to form your own opinions. The fact that you are actively searching for answers, and questioning what you were taught makes you a very strong soul, in my opinion.

@Irish: Wow, thank you. Im sorry to hear you turned from God, but its your choice. What faith do you hold now?

@Logan: I'm sorry to hear that you still turn towards god, but that's your choice as well. :) I identify as Wiccan now. I have since the day I chose to walk away from Catholicism. I could not be happier with the path that I have chosen.

I for one am still 50/50 that there truly is a God. There are many things in the Bible that are questionable so I choose to just live my life.
