=|Cat question|= (by Pittbulll0ver)
Ok so my beautiful calico had 6 very adorable kittens 2/21/12 and they kittens have all found loving homes and about 3 days ago i noticed she was in heat well she slipped out of the door and i think he mated her again "i know i plan on spaying her i just havent go to it yet" so my question is can she get pregnant back to back right after she just had kittens??if so will it harm her??
Yes they can. And will have litter after litter till fixed. They can also take the litter when they fix her and abort her. But cats are definately a back to back. They can still have a liter and breed again.
Yes, i got my ex a cat back in March, she was preg, had the litter and is already preg again.
Yes pregnancy is possible and no it won't harm her. I'm prolife, especially for animals, so aborting the litter would not be an option. It's one thing to stop pregnancy from happening another to terminate so which ever way you go before this happens again listen to bob barker
Aww i did not no cats mated like rabits o.o i guess there is still time to spay her before this happens again.
Dont be surprised if she ever eats her own kittens. I just saved the last kitten from its mom 2 weeks ago n i named it zombie. She almost ate him too but i found her during the process and ive been in parent mode since. Baby kittens r a hastle. Anybody know hoe to keep their eyes from mattin up? I keep cleanin em but there has to be a more permanant solution!
They usually won't get urges till the next time their in heat tho. She can get preg again right after but its more the toms idea than hers. Her first instinct is to raise her young but if a tom gets to her quick enough she won't be able to stop it.
