Or, (easy deal for a quick meal of eel) ok all you need for this is, cloth sack (plastic doesn't work) long lenght of string,bait (chicken liver) Hay/straw, A rock.. Ok, put the rock in the bag, then the bait, then the straw.. Tie the sack closed & ancohor the string to the shore.. The next morning you should have that days meal in th bag :-) the eel will eat its way into the bag, eat the bait, but be unable to find its way out of the bag, due to stirring up the hay.. Try It :-)

Well personally i fry it with garlic :-) its nice grilled.
