This is very reasonable considering. So would you say that it would work better between two military people who pretty much have the same backgrounds or outlooks? I have also seen this happen a lot, even marriages between two different branches of service like dating and marriage between an Army man and Navy woman....

well i would have to say its a toss up on this one. Personaly im not gonna date someone for weather they are militay or civillian i believe if you do choose based on that there is less chance of it working. Me being prior military i am more prepaired to date a female who is in the military beceause i know what it entails. But i wouldnt use that as a basis for deciding who im going to be with.

I've dated both and like military men more because they understand how it is with being gone all the time and the crazy schedule. There are some civilian guys who understand also but very rare in my experiance but the guy I'm with now is civilian and understands completely if I'm not able to talk for a few hours. I love him with all my heart.

As a civilian woman I wanted to pull out the dating similarities and differences among what we would classify as military service men and women and civilian men and women and share them with others who may be curious about it. Your post does just that :) Im glad things are going so good in your relationship and that there is understanding across both worlds. It shows that love has no limits. You go girl!
