I bet its his phone service he got charged for! If he text somebody in India or Canada some phone providers will let you do that and than charge you big time afterward! Also sending pix in different countries will do that! When i was under a 2 year contract with AT&T i send pix to Germany and text my brothers....my phone bill was close to $ 500 that month! Now i have straight talk and if i call or send pix home i have to get a international Phone card ! Who knows what he did!! I never paid a dime for being on here! And i first started out with my phone, now iam on my laptop! But there is no way he got billed for being on Dating.mobi! I want 2 see it to believe it! ;)

So let me get this straight, this teenager makes a very serious accusation, offers absolutely no proof to back it up, and then quickly deletes his account before I even have a chance to ask him about it?

As Hawkeye mentioned, we have never asked for anyone's Credit Card nor have we ever sent a single SMS out to our users, making it impossible -- I repeat, impossible -- for us to charge anything to anyone. In fact, if anyone here can provide any evidence (a simple bill will suffice) that we have charged them even 1 cent, I will personally pay them $1,000. Any takers?

I would suspect this user is either a troll, is confusing us with another site, or he got charged $341.81 for using a lot of Data on his mobile plan. Assuming it's the latter, there is no way he could have racked up even 10% of that charge from Dating.mobi alone as we are designed specifically for mobile phones with very small pages. So, if I had to guess, he was probably streaming videos, which are very data heavy. Now, what kind of videos, I don't know, but there is only one kind of video a user that age would spend that much time watching from the privacy of his mobile phone while in his bedroom, and I suppose it was easier to explain to his parents that it was a "corrupt dating site" that racked up those charges after he got busted.

See how false accusations, no matter how subtle, aren't very nice? :)
