You should always let there be some time between your break up before you become friends because you are still real close and feeling are at there most raw at times like this and still to easy to fall for and get hurt. Space and time is always better before you make friends. It allows you to think clearly. Sorry to here about your situation.

i got the same situation with my kids godfather i waas never with him but i fell in love with him thats what the poem i wrote yesturday was about and it sucks having to let go but you have to in my case i cant let him go completly cuz my kids believe he is there real father cuz he has been around since day one but i do have to let him go in my heart :(
