Ok... I don't mean to offend anyone i just want to know how the world think about adoption in general.... Here in Nigeria people see adoption as know good thing... If you are an orphan here in my country be sure of facing alot of descriminating because you are a child with no parents but foster parent... For those of you who are banned for my sake and those whom finds my thread awkward or bad.... I am letting you all know that thread was purposely posted... I'm curious , why is it in Nigeria , adoption isn't acceptable ? Do you know the reasons ?

If you were adopted , how did you feel receiving that kind of treatment ? and instead of changing the views of adoption in your country ( we are in a modern era ) why is it , you are having the same opinions with them?

Adoption is acceptable by Nigeria Government but its just the Individuals who criticize.....

I feel sad when I was being criticize....

I don't have the same opinion with them .... My previous thread mean the opposite of what I am saying, I just want to find out how the world in general feel about the Orphans...

I am saying all those negative things I heard people say about the orphans in my previous thread just to know what the world have to say...

I respect you and everybody else. Being an orphan has no shame in what's so ever. This who discriminate are foolish and covered in shame.

Way back in the 80's , some Filipinos who live in the deserted/ mountaineous/ part or villages had that kind of mentality as well when it comes to adoption .

Adopted children were bullied , criticized , been called of different not good names & seemed a " dirt " in the society but as the years go by it changed ..


, I do hope you realized now that we are all equal :) the only thing that makes us different from each other is what's inside our heart & mind ...

Here in America adoption is highly praised. U are lucky to have parents (adopted parents) to take u in and raise u. We also adopt from all around the world not jus children here in our land. Alot of times adopted children feel depressed cuz they feel their biological parents didnt want them, but that is not always the case. Adoption is a wonderful thing for the children and the parents involved.

keep ur head high. Here in the states adoption is frowned on by people too! Why? Because here if the gov. Wants your kids they will get them. They dont need to even follow any rules they claim they follow. There is no high athority to stop them. And in jevenile court here they dont always allow a adult to prove their innosence. It goes through key word jevenile court.....which means if your a parent u dont have any rights at all to submit facts on your behalf. There r now class action suits being filed in ca and other states here that parents r getting sick of be accused unjustly

Im from the states....i was adopted as well mate so i see adoption anywhere as a great thing. Parents arent always able to take care of a new child for whatever reason....adoption is a great alternative to abortion which would happen a lot more freuently if adoption was not an option.
