What Do You Eat or Not Eat on First Date (by Rainbowbutterfly)
@ Faye .. I knew what you mean @ spices but I always have a toothbrush & a mouthwash I can excuse myself and head straight to the wash room lol!
As far as food is concerned on a date, I was given some great advice once. Some friends & I were having this discussion...what to eat, how to eat & how uncomfortable it could be, whan a friends Mom offered her advice..."would you ever consider sleeping with this person?" "if you could do that you should be able to eat" wise words! ;)
Lol @ clover .., very wise advise girl !! I'll have to remember that :) .. Thanks for sharing !
@Rainbowbutterfly: Ive always thought they were...good morning hun
Hey everybody. It's weird but on a first date or any date for that matter, if we're dining at home things are more laid back. If we eat pasta and the sauce splashes, spicy foods and the tummy rumbles, garlicy dishes and the breath's kicking like Jean Claude Van Dam, it may not be the most attractive response, but it is at home. I would hate for these things to happen dining out. It wouldn't just be between me and the guy but amongst others as well. Why should the couple across the room witness these things...and, in front of my date?lol As I am heavily into Italian, French, East Indian and Meditteranian dishes, I wouldn't hide from them while out on a date. I would probably choose white sauces, instead of red, milder spices instead of hot, and keep breath spray and mints handy to stamp out karate kicking foods.:)
lool girl! Jean Claude was fine! That's the only man who could buggy in tight pleated pants, kick butt, and still look good. If our breath is that powerful on a first date, we've gotta take care of that.lol
