Yea he is a good example....one phone conversation with him and i shut down anything personal but continued to be friendly with him in the forums...whether he was verified or not had no bearing on my judgement call....brings up sumthing else, what if members rely toooo much on the fact that someone is verified, intead of trusting gut instinct

I hope everyone is ok with me now? I've not tried to hurt or scam anyone.

Another thing that I consider is that I imagine Andres probably has more important things he could be doing than to always be checking our reports, then banning fakes and trolls! For instance, look at Andres post about Tom Walsh aka xxxxdonna, that post had to be very time consuming!

Didnt think it was worth it but since u brought it up agin....my thoughts were either way he will be spending the time and if no newbie on forum he will b soley responsible for answering numerous questions that most figure out here...especially abt how to git verified

@JLaDawn: I dont see that at all with the way Andres has it figured out. The feedback and questions about the forums wouldnt change at all!

This is a valid point. Last night we had one of the Aussie trolls coming back again and again just to troll me, and I couldn't go to bed until I knew it was resolved (which was at 4am my time), otherwise I might have woken up today with hundreds of posts from him and the Forums in ruins. In the end, I had to subtly show him he was not as anonymous as he thought he was, and that quickly ended it. This is further proof that when you remove the veil of anonymity, the trolling stops. So if we do not make the Verified Pic a requirement, anyone could trash the Forums unhindered for up to 8 hours every day, which could cause a lot of damage.

Just more food for thought as I continue to argue both points. :)

I say go for it Andres! U'll never know unless u give it a try. After 3 months if its not working to ur satisfaction then rethink the idea. But rite now u see how it works without verification, now u should see what the difference will be with verification. jmo

Ok but what if you cant verify your picture because your phone wont let you send one? does that mean i would not be able to do anything or what just wondering
