So you have not met him, so that means your child has not as well, yet you allow her to call him dad. Don't mean to be rude because you're young, but that's wrong. I don't even allow anyone i date to meet my child unless I've established he is trustworthy and decent, which most haven't been. If he felt as strongly as you then he'd be looking in desperation for you like you are for him. No one here is being cruel or making fun, think people care and are being honest.
