My Catholic Bible says the story of Moses and the 10 commandments and"there shall be no other God before Me" that means dont worship statues to me lol

I really asked both Catholics and Pentacostals about that part. Because, pentacostals definitely dont believe in idle worship. That would start the speaking in tongues right there lol But, in discussing back and forth with Catholics and Pentacostals I realized something. Everything is symbolic. The bible is symbolic. My mother has to have it with her all the time. She even sleeps with her bible. Holy water...praying oil both symbolic. Communion symbolic. So I dont think these things are idle worship only symbols. You may confess to the priest but you actually pray to God for him. The priest is like the Pastor to me.
