@Twoinchheels: you're fighting a loosing battle there! Many of us that have been here awhile have tried to offer alternatives, made suggestions, complained about and even made fun of the bored posters and threads to no avail. But they JUST KEEP ON COMING!

I know when I see those I feel like making a thread that says'Im bored Someone entertain me Pleez! Do a jig or some tricks! Pull a rabbit out of your sleeve! Just Entertain me! Somebody! Aaaarrrgh!!! LOL!!

well yes there is always something new to learn something new to see and do. We experience life all around us. I like to watch what people are doing learn things from others. Enjoy nature. Go to bookstores discover new things. Helping people all the time never have time to be bored or lonely

last winter I made lots of arts n crafts for my family. For weeks i made preserves for family n friends. I didnt know how to make them so I taught myself and it was fun and did alot of baked goodies for gifts. Geez theres no end to what we can do. Im into all kinds of stuff so always keep myself and my curiosity busy...

Ok. lets turn this a bit. I would like to hear from the younger folks that have no car, not alot of extra cash. . . what do you do to chase your boredom away. how many of you are in school?
