Watching the local news cast, they said it has been 86 years since the last time it snowed in Little Rock on Christmas Day.

Most of the snow that fell here on Christmas night has melted but it has now frozen over night. It will barely rise above freezing today & drop down to below freezing again tonight. Still lots of people are without power this morning.

Good Morning, it's warmer this morning than it has been @ 36 degrees & it's been raining most of the night. They say there is still over 15 thousand homes without power & for some it could take up to 10 more days to restore their power.

Oh my the weather report says it will snow here on New Year's Eve but not like it did on Christmas, which is alright with me.

Oops I was wrong about how many homes that are still without power, there are over 100 thousand homes as of this morning.

I just got back from checking the wheat fields, lots of geese out this morning. All of the snow on the farm has melted but now it's muddy, so I get to go slipping & sliding every where in the 4 wheel drive pickup which is a lot of fun except when I get too close the big ditches then I got to slow down cause sure don't want to end up in the deep cold water. I'll be glad when the geese finally leave but that'll be close to March before that happens.

Here it is New Year's Eve... It's suppose to rain here today but at least it's not going to be a freezing rain today as the temp is @ 37 but the high will only reach up to 40, not much of a warm up is it?
