@sweeterthejuic3: Yes it is. If your in a committed relationship there is no reason you need to be sexting or flirting with others. It sounds innocent but its still cheating

oh yea I knew from the beginning....we was talking as friends at first but it turned into something else

That's the thing, it doesn't sound innocent. It's a sequential cause & effect. Texting>sexting>phone sex>real sex

And even if you stop the sequence, one or both ppl involved will end up wanting the real sex/a relationship...
