For those that don't mind answering, what led you to choosing a dating site vs a more 'traditional' way of finding a mate? I am curious.

I was curious lol wanted to see if anything could happen out of it.

For me theres a couple of facters i dont go to bars and clubs and right now since i am single i work 70 to 85 hrs a week.

@LaDawn1974: I dont mind answering that question lol visited my friend Jenny and her family in Milwaukee over christmas she has 3 kids 2 boys 3 and seven and a teenage daughter i helped her clean her house cooked every day was babysitting so she could take care of other things she fell behind on she always called me cinderella and told me it was time 4 me 2 start looking 4 my prince after being single by choice 4 almost a year lol the one day she came home from shopping she told me she put me on on a dating site i thought she was kidding but she wasnt lol lil did we both know ......what she got myself into lmao so here iam thank u Jenny u truly my best friend!!! ;p-

I figuerd why not worse that could happen i dont find someone here like i didnt with traditional dating plus the herd is so much more plentiful

Because the whole process of meeting people to get to know them had become so taxing. Just wanted to get to know someone without all the pressures for a change... cause a guy shouldn't have to buy her a carton of smokes just to hang out lol anyway a friend suggested online dating, i googled and here i am

I'm single couple years now excluding the short term adventures,
now one of my friends visited me and he met his wife online and theyre happely married now for 10 years and living in her country,so thought why not if i can't find what i'm looking for in holland then maybe someone over seas.

@heikeva: actually was kinda similar to u...am the one that 'tends' to my family(lotsa bro and sises and their families) and after one particularly enjoyable day where I had cooked and cleaned and tended babies all day we were sitting around and a few of my sises decided I needed a man to care for, my kids are getting older and they said I had too much love not to share it and get it back. They know I wouldn't take time to 'date', so next thing I know I am getting texts cuz they signed me up and posted my number....and here i am, didn't come on much till forums tho.
